im feeling quirky lately, so please excuse the strange photos. I dont normally do things like that, im usually all traditional and colorful. These are very muted, something that is very rare for anyone to see out of my work. im going home tonight, so I should be able to submit something with a happier mood. (i have a scanner at home) whoohoo.

I actually only ended up having 1 midterm test this week! whoohoo.. anyhoo, im still getting a ton a messages from you guys. the "excuse me, I have a lisp" is just a fun little thing I drew in class, watercolored it later. I have alot of cute little sketches like it (both watercolor and prismacolor). Ihave also got alot more collages from my sketchbooks. I mostly use National Geographics, Newspapers, and photos that I took myself. It turns out I have alot of neighbors here on DA. Alot of them on are on my list, some of them go to the same school with me. Alot of people are still sending me messages, alot are still fav. my work. Every day, after i get done with whatever im doing, its a nice suprise to see somebody fav my work or give me good advice on a piece.

::::::tell me what kind of pieces i should be putting up--the collages or the photos... people seem to like the collages more, if you do, i will put more of those up first, then put off the photos. (i wont feel so bad for not putting them up anyways.):::::::: rose

i am calling it THE DD. yesterday afternoon, i came to check on my gallery, since i had just reached 100, i was excited to see if any more had checked it out. Since im on campus, i have to use the school's server, which completely SUCKS. the reason: as soon as i logged in, i saw that i had 106 messages. "OMG!!what happened?!?!?!?!!" The sad thing is, as soon as i figured out that I got a DD, the server wont let me get on any of the pages...i was sad. almost chucking the computer out the window. usually the best time to go on here is when noone else is on this server-- around 2-3am. I did that last night-- nope, still didnt work. so, today, i got mad when i couldnt do it STILL. i called my brother to check my site out from his computer. He told me that I had over 1000 page views. He told me this when i was eating dinner. needless to say i was shocked, and almost choked on a biscuit. ooops.

whew. that was a mouthful. little lollie and bobtail lord are part of a series. as soon as i can get them, i will put the rest of the series on here... hopefully soon. midterms are next week...

I FINALLY put the pictures up that i promised everbody a while back. I hope you like them. Depending on your comments, i might put up some more. These are 6 out of the tons of photos that i took like this (im a little oc) anyhoo, i took them using my HP photosmart 735. They were usually taken within the time frame at 5am to 6am during the winter while riding the bus to school. Out the window, while the bus was moving, while im moving my camera in all kinds of calculated directions. These are NOT the first ones i took (im not putting those up because they are awful). AS the series went along, I knew exactly what to do to create a certain affect. All of these are basically point and shoot. Although they are taken by a digital camera, none of them are manipulated in any way on the computer.

I just joined yesterday. I heard about this from a friend- bonnie- who is going to my school. I'm a studio art major in college. i hope you guys love my work! I basically do it all by hand, then scan it in. I hardly ever do computer things, I like to actually do the work with my own two hands. getting messy. Anywhoo, my work has a variety of subjects..and usually lots of color. I've sold some work to a museum, donated some for charities, exhibited in a museum 8 times so far, 6 times at my old high school. Since school has just started, i haven't been in any shows here yet. In addition to my 2D work, I also do sculpture- usually mixed media. I have tons of sketchbooks, so you'll probably see some of the drawings on my page.BUY MY ART!!! I also do commisions...
